Undesirable Artists to Swap Places With | Top few
A fellow friend and blogger Arjun at The Good Musician proposed the questions to a number of us bloggers, “what artists would you not want to trade places/lives with?”
A great question. I had to base my answers on a few criteria: I couldn’t immediately name the members of Nickelback one after another (it wouldn’t have made for a diverse list), I would consider everything - having to play a certain genre/CD all the time, personal life matters and career health.
So here were the ones that jumped into my head…
Flavor Flav - although fun for a few days, the ‘looking at the world through a permanent acid trip’ phase would wear thin after a while.
Tom Cochrane - This is not a shot at TC. I’ve always been a fan and I think his latest album is very good. All I’m saying is…I’ve gone to karaoke night all pumped to rock ‘Life is a Highway’ like 5 times now. Every time I start out the song with a youthful exuberance and about midway through the song I realize I’m kind of sick of Life is a Highway. This has been 5 times now. How many times do you think Tom performs this a year? Again, not a dig, just not for me.
