This week, the songs seem to have a spring or summer vibe. As I add them to this post I&#8217;m listening to them and picturing summery stuff. When I listen to this acoustic version of Joel Plaskett&#8217;s Nowhere With You I picture lying in a hammock playing guitar. I picture driving with the top down in a convertible (that I don&#8217;t own) when I hear Oxford Coma. Maybe this is a good sign. Maybe spring will be [...]<p>Post from: <a href="http://www.torontounplugged.com">Toronto Unplugged</a></p> ]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Another edition of the songs that paddled (or re-paddled) upstream and made their way into the top rotation.</p> <p>This week, the songs seem to have a spring or summer vibe. As I add them to this post I&#8217;m listening to them and picturing summery stuff. When I listen to this acoustic version of Joel Plaskett&#8217;s <em>Nowhere With You</em> I picture lying in a hammock playing guitar. I picture driving with the top down in a convertible (that I don&#8217;t own) when I hear <em>Oxford Coma</em>. Maybe this is a good sign. Maybe spring will be here before we know it.
