Matthew Good is used to touring with his acoustic guitar.  It is a little easier on the body…perhaps because it is more about the music and lyrics and less about the ‘rock’.  This tour, to the delight of fans, Good has decided to crack out his electric again, but admits it’s taking a toll on his body.
“I woke up this morning feeling like I’d run a marathon after which I was hit by a bus, dragged four blocks, and then set upon by wolves,” he said on his website, matthewgood.org, the day after the concert.

Homegrown band Blue Rodeo is on stage at Massey Hall during its Small Miracles tour. Blue Rodeo recently released its 11th full length album of the same name.
The performance is expected to include songs from the new album as well as some of the band’s classic repertoire.
Blue Rodeo is a Canadian country rock band formed in 1984 in Toronto. They have been signed with Warner Music Canada since their debut album Outskirts in March 1987. Massey Hall will host an incredible gig tonight. The Cowboy Junkies will entertain a packed house tonight with friend and recent touring partner Ryan Adams.
In 2007 the Cowboy Junkies released Trinity Revisited, a re-recording of their most famous album featuring guest artists Ryan Adams, Vic Chesnutt, Natalie Merchant and Jeff Bird.
The show tonight at Massey Hall should be a unique, full entertainment experience. In my opinion this musical lineup will be one of the best musical pairings in the city for a while.
