Luke Doucet to Showcase at JunoFest

Luke Doucet & Justin Rutledge will play The Palomino Club in Calgary on Friday Night (April 4th) Rutledge will hit the stage at Midnight and Doucet will follow at 1am.
Tickets for the show are $10 or you can get a multiple access wristband for $30. Good deal.
Nominated for his sophomore record, the critically acclaimed “The Devil On a Bench in Stanley Park” (2006) Rutledge is being honoured alongside Corb Lund, Jill Barber, David Francey & Oh Susanna.
To bolster the outstanding nod, Justin will release his new album, “Man Descending” on April 8. The album’s release also kicks off a full length, international tour with Kathleen Edwards.
As for Luke Doucet, to appease the Canadian fans who have been madly buying his album, “Blood’s Too Rich,” Luke played a handful of headline dates in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto before heading to Calgary.
After signing autographs and handing off high-fives, Luke will don the gloves and take the net for Juno Cup hockey. This will be his fourth year tending goal with legendary Canadian musicians and NHL greats.
