Let me move my things in….

Alright, the domain has been purchased, the blog template is done, the categories have been created, now it’s time for me to move my things in and make this place, Toronto Unplugged, my new home. It feels good already.
I’m tossing out my pens and paper and instead simply using my grade 10 keyboarding class skills - although, I rarely attended that class.
Toronto is where I was born. Toronto has been an educator, a reality check, a vision, a drunken night and a comfort zone for me. Relating to this blog, Toronto has fueled my passion for music discovery. The gigs, the record shops, the live music spewing out the doors of pubs in the summer and dying to get out onto the streets in the winter.
Toronto has a solid music scene, one of the best in North America, and a solid music community.
This blog will be meant as yet another resource when navigating around this scene. For those coming to the city, either domestically or internationally, I hope this helps guide you around the city - concert venues to check out, bars and pubs to catch some of the city’s best live music and artists who deserve a solid listen.
Torontonians, through my years you’ve helped me discover the foundation of my biological music make-up…hopefully, in some way, at some point, I can return the favour by helping you discover a slice of this fantastic music scene.
Pull up a bar-stool and let’s chat music.
And no, this isn’t only going to cover acoustic music.
