Bell X1 at El Mocambo | Have a listen
It’s always fun watching bands creep into stardom. Bell X1 have been making music for years. Their latest (and third) album Flock was just released in North America and is quickly getting passed around with praise.
The band’s name (the merit often debated) derives from the film and book The Right Stuff. The Bell X1 was a supersonic research project and designed to be the first aircraft to breal the speed of sound. The band was drawn to it for it’s “naive discovery”
Jet setting from Ireland, the band is currently playing the El Mocambo and I expect nothing but extremely positive reviews.

For now, have a listen to a band that will will hear again soon down the road.
This track Rocky Took a Lover is from their recent release Flock. Let us know what you think of the track.

2 opinions for Bell X1 at El Mocambo | Have a listen

I was at the show and it was FANTASTIC. Feels like I’ve been waiting forever for these boys to come to our side of the world, but boy were they ever worth the wait.
And they were the nicest guys afterwards, sticking around to talk to fans, be blinded by flashes and sign autographs (and draw pictures, upon request).

Thanks for the comment srahman.
Yeah, I had a feeling the show was going to be a great one. I wish I could have made it.
These guys have been grinding away for a while and their success is coming slowly, so I’m not surprised to hear that they are so generous with their fans.
Cheers.
