Concertaholics | Black Crowes | My Morning Jacket | Steve Miller
Everyone has a handful of websites that they check out on a regular basis.
Within the Toronto scene, I have three clear cut favorites, but when a solid act rolls through town I always stop by Concertaholics to see if there is a review. Concertaholics reviews are always in depth, more often than not the reviews include pictures and the full AV gamut and they (Jeff and Todd) do a great job communicating the overall vibe of the shows. They are both Concertaholics and they bring you insights into the city’s top shows.
Their Black Crowes review was awesome and their My Morning Jacket review is a great recount of a solid evening.
The Steve Miller show review is in the works, but Jeff gave a snippet in a comment on this blog…
Steve Miller was different than the smooth groove of the Black Crowes.. that is for sure.
The whole show seemed to have a “party” , “casino” kinda vibe… Couple of Joe Cocker’s tunes were a highlight as an opener…
Overall a nice one for the “been-to-list” but by no means near the Top.
