Update from Liam Finn | Standout Track
Liam Finn seems to be one of those people who genuinely wants to meet you. He wants to entertains you with his music and he is using music to propel his journey to all of the nooks and crannies of the gigging world.
Liam just sent an update of where he’s at on tour. Here is is…
I am in Seattle at the moment… preparing for what looks like it’s going to be a pretty spesh couple of weeks. My shows supporting Eddie Vedder begins on this coming tuesday in Vancouver, and we make out way down the west coast of the USA at a leisurely pace.
I am very excited to be sharing stage with one of my childhood idols and play in some beautiful theatres along the way.
After this I will be whisked away to Ireland… where my grandmother was born… and where I’ll be Lightning is to be released on April 18 through Independent Records.
And then just for old times sake… back over to London to play a couple of shows, one of which at the barfly, with two highly recommended NZ immigrant artists “lawrence arabia” and “the sneaks”! before returning to U S of A for a big stretch of shows with the wonderful Laura Veirs.
Phew…. thats a lot of stuff now that i think about it.
Whatever… not enough stuff.
