Music Channel Introduces New Additions | Austin Sound Check | Pop Music Scene | The Good Musician
b5media’s Music Channel is pumped to announce the launch of two new blogs by two very talented bloggers.
Launched just in time to provide exclusive coverage of SXSW in Austin Texas, new b5media blog Austin Sound Check has quickly become a major draw for the channel. Austin Sound Check will cover the infuencial and breaking music scene of Austin Texas. The blog is headed by Austin Music specialist Ana Wolken.
A Texan by birth, but St. Louis-raised, Ana Wolken has been in and around the Austin music scene since returning to the Lonestar State in 2000. You are just as likely to find Ana digging through a dusty clearance bin as you are to find her in the crowd at a huge summer festival. “I enjoy all facets of music; from a hard to find CD, to a local show, or the next big arena blowout.”
The newest blog to b5media’s Music Channel is a long anticipated addition. Pop Music Scene will cover arguably the largest segment of the current music industry. Popular Music is an exciting genre in music as it provides vast amounts of variety and entertainment. Pop Music Scene will be lead by Dexie Wharton.
Dexie Wharton is an accomplished pro-blogger with various successful blogs under her belt. She brings an experienced voice and writing style not to mention a passion for Pop Music and all that the genre entails. Follow Pop Music Scene for all the latest information on your favorite artists, American Idol and more.
b5media is also excited to welcome Claudia Snowden as new lead writer for The Good Musician. The Good Musician is a blog that has become a valuable resource for musicians. The blog provides insight in various aspects of being a professional musician as well as referencing some of the industries biggest stars.
Claudia brings a unique level of experience, background, and training to The Good Musician. Her career is as colorful as it is varied. She has been a professional instrumental and choral musician, arts administrator, and information and Web writer/editor for many years, frequently in exotic locations.
